The First Date Drive: 3 Things You Need To Know

There is going to be opportunity
Everything from what to wear, where to go and what to say has been explained, tweaked and analysed ad naseum.
Very little, however, has been written about getting there and then going home again.
Someone has to drive, whether it’s your car, their car, a taxi, a limo, or a subway.
At some point in the travels, when together, there is going to be the “opportunity” for contact. What should you do?
Here are the three things I need you to know about cars and first dates:
1) Keep it clean. If you have three seconds to clean your car out, and it really needs it, then it’s already too late. You should have cleaned it yesterday.
2) No contact allowed. Whether driving, riding or just hanging on for dear life, no contact is allowed, either above or below the shoulders. This is very important.
3) Stay within the driving laws. “The Fast & The Furious” might be your favorite movie but let’s face it, arriving home safely and without a speeding ticket, rates very high when the date is discussed the next day.
And remember (not to put any pressure on you or anything), your first date is when the door either opens or closes on any continuing relationship. Be cool.
