Are You There?: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

The Japan tsunami disaster

The Japan tsunami disaster

Thursday

Are we soon to witness a nuclear meltdown in Japan? More than one?

In times of great distress, where everything you had is gone in a flash, as is being experienced by hundreds of thousands of Japanese people, that love is the only thing that wil carry you through the ordeal.

Knowing that the people you hold most dear are alive and safe is more important than possessions and money. It is love that gives our lives real meaning.

If you’re rich your money may have had made life more comfortable before the disaster and may make rescue of family and loved ones a higher priority after the disaster (because you’d have the financial resources to attempt a rescue more feasible), but Mother Nature doesn’t care about bank accounts or social status. We are all susceptible to the same level of destruction as our neighbor is in the moment of disaster. It is love that carries us from the worst that could happen to the joy of knowing the people we hold most dear are alive and safe.

We see this joy over and over replayed in the news.

If you are alone, if you have no one, who will you share the joy of living with? Who will look for you if disaster strikes?

Hell, what happens if you have the flu or a simple cold?

Family, friends and lovers, these are the people that get us through the tough moments that life (and Mother Nature) throws at us.

And when you’re actively looking for love it’s love that you expect to find. Now, I can’t tell you where you’ll find love. It could be at an online dating service, it could be when when you bump into a stranger at the grocery store.

But if you’re actively looking for love you will find it.

For a headstart maybe you want to change the headline of your online dating profile to this:
“Love means never having to ask ‘Are you there?’ “

Have a great day!
