Hello’s: Dating Profile Headline of the Day
Sunday
Deep down we’re all the same, women and men.
We have the same needs, just different ways to communicate those needs.
Sometimes we don’t have the right words to say so we say nothing at all. That is very wrong.
It’s better to mumble a “Hello” and then quickly follow with “Excuse me, I have a toothache, I meant to say ‘Hello’” than to let the opportunity to communicate with someone that attracts you simply pass wordlessly by.
Many online dating service sallow you to send virtual gifts to someone to introduce yourself and I say put this feature to use.
I read a survey a while back that concluded almost 75% of men would like to receive flowers because of the intimacy of the gift and they would appreciate the gesture the same as would most women.
Today use the idea of a gift drive your efforts at meeting someone new online today and use this headline to get started:
“Is a Hello enough to get your attention?”
Have a great day!
Friday’s Conversation Topics
One of the questions I get asked most is how to start a conversation. And it’s tough. You have to be aware of what the current conversation is and listen well so you know when it’s good to add your own comments and input.
And it’s even harder when you have to start a conversation rather than joining one. Saying “Hello” is only the jumping off point, you have to have a conversation to back your hello up or expect the uncomfortable, pregnant pause, then slink off into the background. Embarrassed.
So it’s good you’re here, you’re going to have plenty to talk about after reading these popular news articles from the past week. Absorb and enjoy.
- Chile’s 33 miners will be out in November. I cannot imagine being trapped in a collapsed mine, waiting for rescue that is months away. I could draw many similarities with our life, above ground, but that just makes their predicament so much sadder and desperate, don’t you think?
- Facebook ruins marriages? Could reconnecting to past friends and girl/boy-friends cause a rift in your marriage? Is orange juice orange? It’s not the same as if you’re out for dinner with your significant other and an old flame walks by, stops and says hello. The Facebook reconnect is much more personal and harder to blow off, don’t you think?
- McDonald’s serves a secondhand burger. Yes now we have a man, who is also a minister, being served an already bitten into burger through the drive-thru. He really didn’t want to make a stir about the whole thing with the exception that might not have been a mistake but a regular occurrence. Ugh.
- Work at the same place but only meet on a dating service? Sure, it’s possible. Then they get married? Wow! Score one for online dating. Otherwise how would a caretaker and a teacher meet and find love?
- America’s Got Talent. Michael Grimm, the million dollar winner in the talent contest broadcast around the world is not only richer but also engaged according to insiders of the “Ellen Degeneres Show” with a marriage proposal to be broadcast this morning on the show.
Have a great weekend - and chat it up!
Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Rob, your headline writer
The day after the day that put an end to our weekend.
Yes, it’s again Tuesday which follows Monday but is only 4 more days until the weekend.
And, of course, three weeks until the next long weekend.
Then we’re just a hop skip and a jump until Halloween.
Summer ends, we pull out the winter clothes and move towards Christmas, all the while playing our new Microsoft Kinect games.
I’m exhausted just thinking about it.
But, and the reason we’re here, is to get dates for all these events, and maybe some sugar with that coffee, if you know what I mean.
To get the ball rolling you need to have a great headline that will grab that special person’s attention, and today I suggest this:
“If I were you I’d send the writer of this headline a pleasant Hello.”
Have a great day!

Dating Profile Headline of the Day
It’s Wednesday, “Hump Day”… the middle of the week, tough day to get through type day.
But that doesn’t have to bring down the attention a great headline profile will receive, right?
Wednesday is one of the busiest days for nline daters to trade messages so it’s also a great day to change that old, stale hadline and replace it with something fun, sassy, cocky and enticing!
So maybe a variation of:
“Meet me, greet me and let’s do this dating thing!”
