Friday’s Conversation Topics

This week’s best news stories that are great to talk about is what you’re about to read, because if you have nothing to say you’re nothing but a flower stuck on the wall… get it “wall flower”?

Sure, not my best “Joke of the Day” but it get’s all the marks it’s due by the effort put behind it. Or something… thanks to Craig Ferguson for making all of this possible. It’s true what they say, it wasn’t Al Gore that created the Internet, it was Craig Ferguson!

And on to this week’s best conversational news stories:

- Porn for Kinect. It had to happen, right? After all, it’s the porn industry that has made the biggest “enhancements” to the WWW as we know it. Voice chat (live and with bots), video (recorded and streamed live), hell, even USB plugin attachments that touch you (gently and in the places you most want) too. Kinect sex just makes sense, doesn’t it? Well? Direct CNET quote “The demo shows that the Kinect is suitable for fairly well controlled hand gestures and that those gestures can be incorporated into a sex game. Without being too graphic, it’s clear that the game makers imagine that players will be using the Kinect to interact directly with women (for now) in the game.” Read the full article and see the game video here.

- “Tron: Legacy” finally comes to the big screens (a maybe a lot of small screens too) today. I won’t be going to see this movie and I won’t be watching it at home unless it comes as 2D. I’m just not ready to be entertained that much by a 3D movie…

- $450.00 for a Christmas tree? Sure, if you have money to burn (yes, even in this economy there are people that still make money) and enjoy the season more than most (again, because you have money to burn). Ho ho ho.

- The wedding proposal… guy’s, the bar has gotten very high this year. Film creator comments “For the whole romantic story, check out my blog post: http://ceaserphotography.com/blog/archives/192 The Proposal is a short film I created to propose to my longtime love, Sara. Filmed and edited like a movie trailer, the proposal was shown in a real movie theater at the Red River Theater http://www.redrivertheatres.org in Concord New Hampshire on 12/12/10 at 4pm. Dear friends and family snuck into the theater after the lights went down and were present when the trailer debuted. Music credit: “Yours Alone” by Nicholas Kirk and William Wilkerson. Listen to their wonderful music at http://www.whitestonemotionpictures.com/music-downloads“.
