Cupid: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Welcome to The Month of Love

Welcome to The Month of Love

Tuesday - In the Month of Love

This month being February, Valentine’s and all of the romantic mess that get’s boyfriends and husbands into trouble and singles of both (all?) sexes into a funk, has arrived.

Whoopee!

I’ll say this straight up then I won’t have to repeat myself for the next 27 days “Enjoy what you have because you won’t have it forever”.

Now, you can take that statement any way you’d like it, but it means what it means and it means something different for each of us.

As for you in particular, look forward and don’t turn back because this month could bring about the positive change that you’re looking for. And I know that you’re looking.

You can hit for the home run and communicate for free all month long (if you’re American) at eharmony.com.

Or you can take it a bit slower (or faster) with dating at Lavalife.com, also free all month long, and join one or all three of the dating communities there.

It’s all up to you and it’s your choice.

I suggest this headline to get you started, without being too corny:
“Has Cupid sent you my way?”

Have a great day!

What’s Important: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Life can take you on a different road.

Life can take you on a different road.

Monday

I’m back!

I had the weekend off of work (you’ll notice the lack of posts), I visited my mom (who’s getting on in years) and drove across the mountains and rivers area that I live to get there.

And it is great to be back home.

I now know why holidays have to end though. It’s so intense catching up on the events of relative’s lives, paying attention to the information so you can ask informed questions later on. Then it’s over and you can catch your breath. And you go home back to the life you have.

It’s what you have that no one can take from you that counts in your life. You can always lose property and money but what’s really important cannot be taken from you, you can only lose it for yourself.

On this note it’s what we are always seeking and often don’t realize we have until it’s gone, the thing that’s most important to us (and that may be different for each one of us but…) that is much harder to find the second time around.

Online dating helps a lot for this part of the second part of life with meeting people because you do get to know a few more details about someone that might otherwise take a few dinner dates (and maybe more) before you can decide on your own personal compatibility with them.

To get started this week I suggest this headline for you to post with your profile:
“The song does not have to remain the same.”

Have a great day!

Friday’s Conversation Topics

This week has brought change to our world. Change that has been hidden behind closed doors, spoken in hushed voices and sometimes imprisoned without judge or jury. Or worse. These events may make dating seem to be a small part of life but dating, meeting people and being able to freely associate is a cornerstone of life that not all people share. Sometimes it’s easy to not appreciate, to not take advantage of life and all of it’s possibilities. Let’s move forward this week. Speak and meet people freely. Share.

- Sexting leads to quicker sexing. Or so say the studies at Shape and Men’s Fitness magazines recently released. Really, they had to ask 1,200 people to find this out?

- Single people more likely to dump their date than separate from their pet. A recent study showed that 25% of single people are more likely to choose their pet if it came down to having to choose. This tells us that if you’re dating someone with a pet take some treats with you when visiting or take a chance on not being liked by the puppy and then getting dumped. The study did not show a difference between cat and dog owners. Other pets were not part of the study.

- The “Piano on the sandbar” mystery has been solved… with two contenders for responsibility. But really, I did it… wanna see my boat?

Have a better day!

Social: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Thursday

In the wacky world that is our life can you believe some of the events that are grabbing the headlines?

Mark Zuckererg’s Facebook account get’s hacked, and now Facebook is going to sell ads along with your posts and updates. We know that privacy means nothing to this company, and we know we forfeit some of our private lives by openly publishing personal information to our Facebook accounts but come on, let us at least try to openly keep aspects private.

A dog is found encased in a block of ice, on a man’s lawn. Now, I understand the universal stance against animal cruelty but can’t we have such news stories that include arrest info or a way to supply tips towards the apprehension of these grotesque criminals?

Events like these make me want to just shut the doors and windows and wait for the end times (unless this is it now).

When you have an active social and dating life you won’t feel the urge to bolt yourself inside because you’ll have a lot of people to share your concerns and insights with.

Let’s get stated on increasing our social activity with a fun headline that will make people need to meet you, post this:
“Let’s get it started!”

Have a great day!

Hump Day’s Motivational Picture

As you scurry from the cold and wind, think that many of the people you know are planning their winter vacation escape while you count pennies and bring to work your left-over coffee from home.

Let this beach babe warm you up, in whichever way you feel appropriate.

Physical Love: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Changing the physicalness

Wednesday

Is someone’s facial imperfection (wart, mole, scar) enough to make you not want to date them?

And what if you met them through an online dating service first and shared that “instant connection” before meeting them in person?

Does that change anything or do you still run?

One of the real advantages of online dating (and the one that eharmony promotes above all others) is that you can make that connection before the physical appearance get’s in the way of real love. We’ve all suffered through physical love, the lust and desire and eventual loss, and keep looking for the spiritual and soulful love that separates us from the monkeys that we hope to find just once in our lives.

Just thinking…

Today’s headline for you is:
“I’ve never been in that area, tell me about it.”

Have a great day!

PS. Craig Ferguson says “CBS stands for ‘Coke, booze and sluts’… hehe, you gotta like a guy that can keep slamming the people that sign his paycheck. Maybe the Teamsters negotiated his contract.

PPS. Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook page hacked… seriously. I guess a few billion doesn’t buy the same security it used to. See image of hacked page at Techcrunch.
