Fun Dates: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Pasta dinner for two.
Fun is defined by the person that is having it.
For instance, if you’re with someone and you know that a roller-coaster is fun, so you convince the other person to go on the roller-coaster too, but they don’t have fun, right there we have two differing ideas of what fun it. The person that had fun on the ride is certainly in a different place after the ride and the person that didn’t think the roller-coaster ride was fun, well, there in an entirely different place too, aren’t they?
Fun is simply a word that is associated with what YOU like and not necessarily someone else. This is a straight fact that can make your “date location decision” a whole lot harder.
The basics of a fun first date are:
- You must communicate with each other as a natural part of the date (the opposite would be being at a movie theater watching a movie, in the dark, where talking if frowned upon).
- Should be interactive between the two of you. Examples would be bowling, cooking class, mini-golf, etc. Going to a Red Cross CPR class is not a good first date, but maybe an activity 6 weeks down the road of the dating relationship.
Remember: communication and activity.
For today’s fun dating ad headline suggestion I suggest this:
“I would love to learn to cook Italian food. Are you with me?”
Have a great day!

Friday’s Conversation Topics
This week’s best news stories that are great to talk about is what you’re about to read, because if you have nothing to say you’re nothing but a flower stuck on the wall… get it “wall flower”?
Sure, not my best “Joke of the Day” but it get’s all the marks it’s due by the effort put behind it. Or something… thanks to Craig Ferguson for making all of this possible. It’s true what they say, it wasn’t Al Gore that created the Internet, it was Craig Ferguson!
And on to this week’s best conversational news stories:
- Porn for Kinect. It had to happen, right? After all, it’s the porn industry that has made the biggest “enhancements” to the WWW as we know it. Voice chat (live and with bots), video (recorded and streamed live), hell, even USB plugin attachments that touch you (gently and in the places you most want) too. Kinect sex just makes sense, doesn’t it? Well? Direct CNET quote “The demo shows that the Kinect is suitable for fairly well controlled hand gestures and that those gestures can be incorporated into a sex game. Without being too graphic, it’s clear that the game makers imagine that players will be using the Kinect to interact directly with women (for now) in the game.” Read the full article and see the game video here.
- “Tron: Legacy” finally comes to the big screens (a maybe a lot of small screens too) today. I won’t be going to see this movie and I won’t be watching it at home unless it comes as 2D. I’m just not ready to be entertained that much by a 3D movie…
- $450.00 for a Christmas tree? Sure, if you have money to burn (yes, even in this economy there are people that still make money) and enjoy the season more than most (again, because you have money to burn). Ho ho ho.
- The wedding proposal… guy’s, the bar has gotten very high this year. Film creator comments “For the whole romantic story, check out my blog post: http://ceaserphotography.com/blog/archives/192 The Proposal is a short film I created to propose to my longtime love, Sara. Filmed and edited like a movie trailer, the proposal was shown in a real movie theater at the Red River Theater http://www.redrivertheatres.org in Concord New Hampshire on 12/12/10 at 4pm. Dear friends and family snuck into the theater after the lights went down and were present when the trailer debuted. Music credit: “Yours Alone” by Nicholas Kirk and William Wilkerson. Winter Weather: Dating Profile Headline of the Day
Tuesday
Thanks to all that offered their support as I dug myself out of a mountain of snow, your cheery thoughts kept my toes warm for several seconds… (watching too much Craig Ferguson, eh?!)
But seriously, I am glad that this is over. For now. I certainly feel for the hundreds stranded on a highway in Ontario and the countless numbers of people dragging their asses after a white-knuckle episode of driving to (and later from) work. Egads!
So anyways, I do have a point here, it’s enjoy the weather when you can because if we’re lucky it won’t last long! But there will be more tomorrow.
Which also leads us to today’s profile headline suggestion, so consider this:
“There will be snow, who will keep you warm?”
Have a great day!

Love Shack: Dating Profile Headline of the Day
Thursday
Responsibility: It’s what we have to do when we have to do it.
I’ve often mused about life, love and the curves that are thrown at us. Being ready and prepared helps to keep us sane, after all, if life consistently blind-sided us we would go insane.
It is true, we live and we learn. We love and we hope to be loved.
Go about your day today and hum a little song (video below) and let yourself feel the real truth about life: it’s a party and you can be on the dance floor or be a wall flower, the feelings are totally yours to own.
For your headline today I have the easiest suggestion for you right here:
“I have a love shack built for two.”
Have a great day!
Friday’s Conversation Topics
Another week, another few days of wackiness and newsworthy stories. It’s all about what I have and what you want this week. You’re going to want to talk about these news stories. Really! Read on.
- “I know the law”… and now this Spanish lady owns the sun. It’s amazing what the power of a notary public is and I have to wonder what Angeles Duran is going to charge us for using the sun. This is a great entrepreneurial job, don’t you think? Hmmm…
- It’s a good probability that your computer is already fingerprinted (that is, cataloged by each device’s unique combination of hardware, software and installed fonts) and you’re being tracked more intricately that ever before. David Norris’s company BlueCava has already fingerprinted 200 million internet devices and expects to have more than 1 billion devices fingerprinted and trackable for online advertisers by the end of 2011. It’s going to be very hard to use any internet-enabled device and not be followed online soon, if not already.
- Yes, I said he has a camera in the back of his head. Hey, everyone wants to be known as “the first” and academia being what it is these days, if you can’t impress one way, go farther than anyone else and make your mark with a camera in the back of your head. yes, this article includes a video to sate your curiosity and give you even more to talk about. “The thumb-sized camera is mounted on a titanium plate inserted inside the back of his head” Professor Wafaa Bilal said. Once the camera is broadcasting via a computer Professor Bilal carries with him you’ll be able to view the pictures at www.3rdi.me.
- In these hard times there’s always a story of a guy, somewhere, augmenting his income in a less-than-lawful way. Mr. Gumbs, while working at the Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, managed to order a few extra toner cartidges and (possibly but this has yet to be proven in court) sold them on some ink-black-market. Well, maybe a little more than a few, maybe more like $3.4 million dollars of excess (and still missing) toner purchased since 2004 that never made it into the hospital’s supply system. Of course, a lot of the ink didn’t even fit any of the printers that are in use at Sloan-Kettering. I guess this was a “great job” for a while…
Have a great week!
