Friday’s Conversation Topics
It’s another weekend coming up and you have missed a whole week of news, what with your busy (cough, cough) life.
No worries, I’m here to help you out with some interesting news stories that you can read and share when it’s your time to speak. Avoid those awkward pauses and fill the air with your take on this:
Good Samaritan Gets Scammed
It really breaks my heart when people are taken advantage of and it’s that much worse when they’ve already helped the person and still get robbed. That exactly what happened to one sweet soul in Atlanta. Of course, people will steal anything! (Toilets are worth money too.)
Son Wrecks Car, Dad Sells It For Cheap
It’s the right thing to do, in my opinion. If the son can’t handle a 1.4 litre engine car and ends up crashing it and rolling it over, well, a dad has to do what a dad has to do… and in this case sell the car. You have to like some life lessons, don’t you? I like it!
Will Google Forget you?
Google loses a privacy case brought out by a citizen of Spain that could cause ramifications for the search giant. If you ask does Google have to help the internet forget you? This will be interesting to follow, if I remember to.
5,000 Facebook Messages = 0 Dates
This guy needs to seriously up his game. I mean, I’ve heard of rejection before but being rejected by every woman he sent a message to has to hurt as well as point to some other anti-romantic condition afflicting the guy.
Geesh.
