I like Oasis Active, it’s a basic free dating service that offesr what you’re looking for in adating service that doesn’t have overwhelming ways to make contact with other members. The profile questionaire is fairly comprehensive but, as I found, can be skipped so you can go right into the member search and see who’s interesting and who is close by.
