Dating Profile Headline of the Day: Dating in an Texting World

Let’s talk!
News stories and surveys have recently revealed that texting is becoming the communication tool of choice for many.
I admit I love texting, sending short messages without having to necessarily deal immediately with the reply, adding emoticons (smilies for many, Emoji keyboard for Apple iPhone/iPad users) just make your message easier to understand. Without them there’d be no sarcasm to mere aquaintances without the fear of being caught and pummeled.
But, I will strongly inform you, texting adds no value to your dating relationships and has the potential to create a morass of misunderstnadings that you may never recover from, so beware.
Grow your relationship stronger, don’t text unless it’s an absolute emergency (like deathbed and no other way to leave a message because they don’t have voicemail). Use your voice in all phone calls. Better yet, video call whenever possible (aren’t Facetime, Skype and similar services great?).
For your personal ad headline today give this a try:
“I believe in open and honest communication: Let’s start with a hello!”
Have a great day!
