Friday’s Conversation Topics
Let’s put aside the wars and the fires, the disasters, man-made and natural, that haunt so many people today. Let’s this time around have a little humor and irony in our conversations this weekend. Enjoy.
- A Pennsylvania woman allegedly changed her children’s grades after logging into a school computer system using passwords obtained when she worked for the district. Seems like a great parenting job to me… but a bad life example for her children.
- Porn companies find new revenue streams. Why worry about sales when you can sue instead? I’m rather shocked that people are getting sued for “possibly” illegally downloading porn, especially when there’s some much free porn out there.
- Apple releases Mountain Lion OS X 10.8. I like it and there’s a lot of great reasons to be excited about this latest update. But you’ll have to read the stories because all those PC users don’t really want to know what they’re missing.
- The London 2012 Olympics opens today. It’s a lot of sports, a lot of protesters and a lot of police. I don’t know which excites me more.
