Cupid’s Arrow: Dating Profile Headline of the Day

Cupid never misses

Cupid never misses

Tuesday

While I was thinking about what to write for today’s headline I came across this interesting post at Gizmodo.com:
Quote
A new Firefox extension lets anyone sharing an open wireless network at your neighborhood café or workplace easily access your Facebook, Twitter and myriad other online accounts. It’s a terrifying tool designed to highlight a longstanding problem. Seattle programmer Eric Butler’s new Firesheep extension can show you a graphical list of the online accounts of everyone sharing an open wifi network with you. With one click on an icon, you’re instantly logged in as them.

Now, of course, this “someone logging into your personal facebook or gmail or other account” won’t affect everybody and might not even happen to you but it will certainly affect someone you know.

You’ve been warned.

Now, as for today’s personal headline of the day, let’s go with something we know will get a reaction:
“Think of this headline as Cupid’s arrow from my heart to yours.”

Today’s online dating tip is for Match.com users: When you update your profile, headline or pictures there can be an up to 24 hour wait for your profile to be available to be seen by other members but your profile will be ranked higher in browse and search results giving you better opportunities for your profile to be seen. As well, if you’re a paid member your “unapproved status” will usually be quite a bit less, with your profile edits being approved in as little as a couple of hours.

Have a great day!
