If you're like most women, (me included!), you
turned to astrology because of relationships.
That's right... boys.
I use the word "boys" because for most of us, this interest in astrology started early. Like really early.
As in, grade school early.
Come on - admit it. You'd run around the schoolyard playing dodge ball and hopscotch, and asking all the cute boys what sign they were, or at the very least when their birthdays were so you could figure out what sign they were.
And then you'd run home and hide in your closet (so your brother couldn't see you) and pour over astrology books that told you all about how your sign would get along with that of each cute boy you were wondering about.
(Let's all have a moment of silent thanks for Linda Goodman about now...)
It was so exciting, like having a secret weapon - an amazing way to understand each boy more fully.
Just think - you knew which boys to be flirty with, which ones to impress with your studies, which ones to play it cool with.
But best of all, you knew which boys you should focus your romantic attentions on, and which ones to avoid altogether.
Ah, the power this knowledge could give a girl!
There was just one little problem...
It didn't work.
That's right, the books gave you some interesting insights into why each boy would behave the way that he did - explaining why he was shy or outgoing, quiet or loud, analytical or sensitive...
But they didn't tell you what to do about it.
And they really didn't help you understand why you got along great with some boys, but not others.
In fact, you probably noticed that the advice was often completely the opposite of your experience.
In other words, the guys you were warned you wouldn't get along with, you did.
And the ones you were promised were your perfect match didn't seem to notice you.
In fact, they always seemed to like your best friend, and only paid attention to you when they were trying to get close to her.
But enough about my early love life! :)
If you've grown up doing this - asking men their sign or their birthday so you can have a "trick" to let you know how you'd connect with them romantically... please STOP!
Here's the problem - just like in grade school, IT DOESN'T WORK.
Why? There's a very simple reason...
I'm going to tell you something amazing.
Your Sun sign does not tell you how you'll get along EMOTIONALLY with another person.
And that's what matters, right?
How they make you FEEL and how you make them FEEL.
The Sun is not an indicator of feelings. It's an indicator of behavior.
So, looking at the Sun sign of a man will tell you somewhat about how he'll behave.
And looking at the Sun signs of you both may give you some understanding of your complementary or conflicting behaviors.
You know - like if you're a party girl but he's a homebody. Or if you're happiest behind the scenes while he needs to be the center of attention.
And, don't get me wrong - that's valuable.
But not as valuable as understanding how a man will make you feel...
Don't you wish there was a way to know that stuff?
Things like why a man makes you feel confident and loved, seen and understood - or not?
Better yet - if he is smitten with you, if he can be himself with you, if he feels meaning and purpose in your connection... and you with him.
Or if, no matter what you do, he'd never truly get you...
What if there was a way you could know that stuff - the really good stuff?
You know - the LOVE stuff?
Well, now there is!
There's a technique used in Vedic astrology - the system I practice from ancient India - that's been used for thousands of years to arrange marriages.
It's so accurate and amazing, and so comprehensive, that when I learned how to use it, it dramatically improved my ability to help my clients in their relationships.
Prior to knowing this technique, I would do what all astrologers do - I'd compare two people's charts side by side, looking at all the planetary positions between them including their Sun signs, rising signs, and Moon signs...
Then I'd be sure to check out the aspects between their Mars and Venus energies to see if they had chemistry.
I'd look to see what transits they were under and if the timing they were in supported them being in a relationship or not.
This worked fine. Sometimes it was very helpful.
This could often highlight similarities and differences between my clients and the men in their lives and help them to understand the timing they both were going through.
But it wasn't very specific.
And sometimes the sessions were kind of ho-hum...
I wasn't able to tell, using these basic techniques, all about how a couple felt together.
And I certainly wasn't able to see the destiny of their relationship.
It got so I wondered if I was really helping people. It got so I was frustrated that I wasn't able to see more.
After a while, I got bored.
Pretty soon I didn't know if I was going to continue to be an astrologer.
I thought of selling real-estate.
But then a miracle happened.
Fate intervened.
I met an incredible man at an astrology conference.
This man had lived in India and learned the ancient language that all the original Vedic astrology manuscripts were written in.
He spent months traveling around the country doing astrological research, reading the old books in their original form.
He uncovered this powerful compatibility technique that had been done for thousands of years but had been largely misinterpreted.
Some of the technique was done in one part of the country but not another.
Some of the details were understood in some regions, but lost to others.
He sifted through all the information, determined their true meanings, put it all back together, and returned to America just to teach it to me...
Okay, and a bunch of other students.
I started using this technique with my clients and it was astonishing.
No longer were readings ever ho-hum.
No more did I wonder if I was helping people. I knew I was...
Suddenly I could be incredibly specific with my clients about their relationships.

I threw away my books on real-estate.
And my business boomed.
Best of all, clients started having real breakthroughs.
Women instantly forgave themselves for a past relationship they couldn't make work.
Clients told me they felt a peace of mind they hadn't found in years of therapy.
Others told me they finally knew how to deal with their men in a way that worked - at last...
